Batman #148 was as far back as my run extended; I have something like 110 consecutive issues starting from there. I could never quite bring myself to buy Batman #147 with that ridiculous Bat-Baby cover.
I'll pick up Batman #147 eventually. I've got to review it sometime after all.
Batman #148 actually inspired a Donald Barthelme short story in the (ahem) “post-modern” mode
